Samantha is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and holds a Masters of Social Work Degree and has an educational background in Psychology & Concurrent Disorders. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers as well as the Ontario Social Work Association, both in good standing. Samantha has a history of working with diverse populations of clients including those experiencing trauma, substance use issues, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. Samantha has completed several post-graduate trainings in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Complex trauma, Perinatal Mental Health (Fertility, Birth & Postpartum), and Attachment. Samantha also has extensive experience with crisis intervention.
Experiencing the baby blues and postpartum anxiety herself, Samantha is passionate about assisting new mothers during this period navigate the heavy mix of emotions, and offers a compassionate approach to help you feel seen, understood, and grounded.
